Professional Profile
I’m Eduardo Amengual Risso, a game designer and developer.
I design player-focused systems and turn them into playable, production-aware experiences across PC, mobile, virtual reality and augmented reality.
Experience grounded in shipped work and production constraints
My work combines game mechanics, Unity development, systems design, level creation, user interface design and technical implementation. Since founding EDAM Games in 2023, I have worked on game development, prototypes, web-based interactive experiences and augmented reality applications while supporting both independent and established teams.
Before EDAM Games, I worked as a game developer at Space Go on Parchis Teams and Jalsat Ludo, focusing on metagame systems, interface development and pre-production planning. At Super Squad I contributed to Freeport, integrating Articy for story management and supporting gameplay systems. At Playgram Games I worked on gameplay programming, optimization and UI for Pirate Match Adventure and Monster Mansion Blast.
Earlier roles at TwinForce and Kitmaker covered mobile card games, virtual reality experiences, J2ME and Android development, level structures and game pacing. In 2026 I also completed a level design internship at Arcan Studios, using Unreal Engine and Blueprints on introductory and European city environments.

A little more about me
I enjoy working where design and technology meet. I like understanding why a mechanic, interface or interaction works, then building and testing it until it feels clear to the person using it.
Outside work, my interests are varied, especially video games, board games and tabletop role-playing games, reading and gastronomy. I also enjoy learning new things and exploring subjects that broaden both my personal and professional perspective.
Training
My background includes UI/UX Design at Ironhack, game design studies at Tokio New Technology School and a Higher Education qualification in Application Development. I work professionally in English, Spanish and Catalan. Spanish and Catalan are my native languages.
