Unity Game Development & C#

Unity development for complete games, production features and existing projects.

I develop games and gameplay features, solve bugs and support Unity projects through implementation, maintenance and optimization. Prototyping is also available when a team needs to validate a direction early.

Unity support across the project lifecycle

The work can start with a new game, a defined feature or an existing codebase that needs reliable technical support. I use Unity and C# to turn design requirements into playable systems while keeping implementation scope, player experience and future maintenance connected.

  • Development of complete games, vertical slices or clearly scoped game modules.
  • Gameplay features, mechanics, progression, metagame and interaction systems.
  • Bug reproduction, diagnosis and resolution in existing Unity projects.
  • UI implementation, menus, HUDs, feedback and player-facing states.
  • Maintenance, refactoring and extension of existing systems.
  • Performance work and cross-platform implementation for PC and mobile.
  • Rapid prototypes when a mechanic or technical direction needs validation.

Feature development and integration

I can take a feature from an agreed design through technical planning, implementation and integration. This may involve building the gameplay logic, connecting UI and feedback, working with existing architecture and checking related behavior so the new feature fits the rest of the game instead of becoming an isolated layer.

Bug fixing and existing-project support

When joining an existing Unity project, I begin with the observable problem: how to reproduce it, which systems it affects and what the expected behavior should be. From there, I trace the cause, implement a scoped correction and review adjacent behavior that could be affected by the change. The result can include the fix itself, reproduction notes and a clear explanation of assumptions or remaining risks.

This support also fits projects that need ongoing maintenance, targeted refactoring or help extending a system without rewriting the entire codebase. The objective is to solve the immediate need while respecting the project’s current structure and production constraints.

Building a game from the ground up

For new development, I help translate the intended player experience into an achievable technical structure. Mechanics and systems are implemented iteratively so they can be evaluated in play, while architecture and tooling stay proportional to the actual project rather than adding complexity without a production benefit.

Production experience

My Unity background covers shipped mobile titles, metagame systems, gameplay features, UI implementation, puzzle mechanics, cross-platform optimization, virtual reality and augmented reality experiences. Previous work includes Space Go, Super Squad, Playgram Games, TwinForce and Kitmaker, alongside independent projects developed through EDAM Games.

What you receive

Depending on the brief, delivery can include a playable build, implemented features, maintainable C# components, corrected bugs, technical notes and a clear account of decisions, assumptions or risks discovered during development. When appropriate, the work connects directly with game design and game UX/UI so implementation remains coherent from system to screen.
